Job summary

SpaceX in the United States is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to install and support the fiber, copper cabling, voice, video, and RF systems across launch and ground operations, enabling Falcon, Dragon, Starship missions and real-time communications. You will read schematics, install pathways, test connectivity, document results, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling (RF, Ethernet), network and telephony installation, and audio/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document test results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment.
• Install cable pathways (trays, racks, J-hooks, D-rings).
• Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontals and backbones.
• Build telecommunication and equipment rooms.
• Install connectors and terminations; perform wiring tests.
• Diagnose and document instrumentation or system malfunctions.
• Read planning documents, schematics, and drawings.
