Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Technician to support launch and ground communications. Responsibilities include installing and testing fiber, copper, and RF cabling, and building telecom spaces.

You will work with audio/video and telephony systems and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex systems. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, knowledge of industry standards, and availability for travel up to 25% with a willingness to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of experience with fiber optics, copper cabling, and AV systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).
• Willingness to travel ~10-25%.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and document test results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment.
• Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms.
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot failures and issues from test data.
• Perform continuity checks and locate/correct wiring errors.
