Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager of Incident Response Consulting for a Weekend Shift Team. The role is remote and oversees high-stakes cybersecurity engagements, guiding from triage to final reporting, while mentoring consultants and coordinating with clients and executives.

You'll direct investigative strategies and threat hunting across cloud and on-prem environments, delivering clear recommendations to strengthen client security posture and ensuring top-tier engagement quality.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity consulting or incident response.
• Hands-on incident response expertise with forensic analysis capabilities.
• Strong mentoring skills to develop consultants' growth.
• Excellent project management abilities to balance priorities and client expectations.
• Effective communication skills for conveying technical findings to executives and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud incident response methodologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership during incident response engagements and ensure quality execution.
• Lead client onboarding and initial triage to define deliverables and resource needs.
• Communicate investigation findings and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
• Guide investigative strategies and threat hunting methodologies.
• Conduct intrusion investigations under outside counsel direction.
• Recruit and mentor consultants in technical forensics and client engagement.
• Offer strategic recommendations to enhance organizational security posture.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders.
