CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to lead high-stakes investigations for enterprise clients and mentor a consulting team.

You will guide incident response engagements, develop strategies, manage client expectations, and communicate findings to executives while evolving the threat-hunting program across cloud and on-prem environments. This role offers remote flexibility and strong career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in cybersecurity consulting or incident response
• Hands-on incident response and forensic analysis capability
• Experience leading complex IR investigations and guiding technical teams
• Ability to mentor and develop technical consultants
• Strong project management skills and stakeholder communication
• Experience managing client engagements and delivering on expectations
• Knowledge of cloud incident response across AWS/Azure/GCP

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout incident response engagements, guiding investigative strategies and delivering high-quality results
• Lead client onboarding, triage, scoping, and resource planning for prospective engagements
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to executives and legal counsel
• Develop and apply threat hunting methodologies across data sources
• Coordinate with outside counsel during intrusion investigations
• Recruit and mentor consultants across forensics and client engagement disciplines
• Offer strategic remediation recommendations to mature client security postures
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Demonstrate thought leadership through blogs, webinars, and public speaking
