Job summary

CrowdStrike is a global cybersecurity leader seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to oversee a weekend shift team on a 4x10 Fri-Mon schedule. You will lead complex investigations for Fortune 100 clients, mentor junior consultants, and guide strategic incident response efforts while interfacing with executives and legal counsel.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, hands-on IR expertise, and the ability to drive client engagements, with opportunities to publish thought leadership

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management experience in a cybersecurity consulting or incident response setting.
• Hands-on incident response experience with forensic analysis and investigations.
• Experience leading complex incident response investigations and guiding technical teams.
• Ability to mentor and develop consultants, with ongoing feedback.
• Strong project management skills balancing priorities and resources.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to executives and stakeholders.
• Experience managing client engagements and maintaining client relationships.
• Cloud incident response knowledge across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Ability to independently assess technical findings and guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout incident response engagements.
• Lead client onboarding, triage, and scoping for prospective clients.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
• Guide investigation strategies and threat hunting across data sources.
• Work with outside counsel on intrusion investigations and findings.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop consultants across forensics and client engagement.
• Provide actionable recommendations to mature security postures during incidents.
• Produce high-quality written/verbal reports for stakeholders and regulators.
• Demonstrate thought leadership via blogs, webinars, and public speaking.
