Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Cafeteria Worker/Nutrition Assistant to provide patient-focused nutrition services and meal support at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. You will assist patients with diet-appropriate menu selections, support meal service operations, and maintain high standards of care with strong teamwork.

Under supervision of the Registered Dietitian, you will help ensure meals comply with prescribed diets and communicate effectively with clinical staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections that meet dietary needs.
• Adjust meals according to physician and dietitian instructions.
• Ensure meals are delivered as ordered and notify staff of any issues.
• Answer calls and respond to patient requests promptly.
• Support meal tray assembly, delivery, and setup.
• Document patient meal intake and calorie counts as assigned.
