Mass General Brigham is seeking a Cafeteria Worker/Nutrition Assistant for the weekend evening shift to provide patient-focused nutrition support and meal service at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.

You will assist with menu selections, ensure diet compliance, and support meal delivery while collaborating with clinical and food service teams. Prior customer service is valued; hospital setting experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or patient-facing experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• English literacy required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with menu selections while ensuring compliance with prescribed dietary restrictions.
• Adjust meal selections per physician, dietitian, or nursing instructions.
• Ensure patients receive meals and nourishment as ordered and notify nursing staff of any concerns.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to requests according to department guidelines.
• Process orders for nutritional supplements and enteral nutrition products.
• Support meal delivery, tray setup, and tray retrieval processes.
• Monitor and document calorie counts and meal intake information.
• Communicate with clinical and production teams regarding patient needs and diet education requirements.
