Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume testing laboratory preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and other shifts as needed.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
• Skill in performing related computer procedures (LIS, HIS).
• Knowledgeable in quality assurance practices, preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform, under supervision, a wide variety of technical and non-technical procedures.
• Prepare specimens for analysis: label, centrifuge aliquot, receive and follow up on unacceptable specimens.
• Maintain accuracy in computer order entry and data records.
• Assist in validating and implementing new processes, software and equipment.
• Complete assignments with minimal supervision and report to management.
• Answer calls and provide accurate information to staff and clinicians.
• Cover other shifts and locations as needed to support operations.
