Job summary

The HLT will perform accurate computer order entry, assist with validation of new processes and equipment, and provide information to callers.

Qualifications

• Performs a wide variety of technical and non-technical procedures independently.
• Prepares specimens for analysis; labels, centrifuges aliquots, and handles unacceptable specimens.
• Enters orders accurately in the computer system.
• Assists in validation and implementation of new processes, software and/or equipment.
• Follows through to completion of assignments with minimal supervision.
• Answers calls and provides accurate information.
• Maintains and reviews maintenance records for accuracy.
• Assesses workload and helps coworkers without being reassigned by the supervisor.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts.
• May cover at any of the BURL sites.

Responsibilities
