Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for part-time shifts from 7 am to 3:30 pm with a 0.50 FTE. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, laundry duties, and support infection control across patient and non-patient areas.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Past cleaning experience preferred.
• Infection control knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep areas free of dust and debris.
• General cleaning and disinfecting per policies and procedures of all assigned areas (patients and non-patient areas) per shift.
• Dusting, disinfecting and cleaning multiple surfaces in the areas, polishing furnishings, sweeping and mopping the floors, vacuuming carpet.
• Laundry duties including collecting/delivering linen, sorting, washing, drying and folding.
• Evaluate and report safety concerns to appropriate department.
