Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain cleanliness and infection control across in-patient, out-patient, and common areas within the facility. The role includes dusting, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and managing linen tasks as part of a housekeeping team.

Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, part-time (0.5 FTE), with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Past cleaning experience preferred.
• Infection control knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep designated areas free of dust and debris.
• General cleaning and disinfection per policies and procedures.
• Complete task paperwork and explain any incomplete tasks.
• Clean bathrooms, sinks, surfaces, and floors; vacuum and polish.
