Job summary

Ambercare Hospice seeks a compassionate Weekend RN On-Call to join our Espanola, NM team. You will provide clinical care, assess patients, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and quality of life for patients and families.

The role offers flexibility with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and certification

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
• Must possess current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of quality assessment and assurance procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and support to patients and families.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate admission, care planning, and evaluation.
• Communicate with attending physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Visit patients regularly to reassess needs and update care plans.
