Advocate Health is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to join the 24-hour weekend program in Illinois. This part-time role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8am to 8pm, with after-hours support for hospice patients in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in state of practice.
• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Experience in hospice or end-of-life care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing assessments and interventions.
• Triage calls from patients and caregivers and guide hospice care.
• Perform in-person visits to manage acute symptoms and ensure comfort.
• Document encounters and ensure continuity of care in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
