Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in California is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered care team. You will provide hospice nursing visits to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals, delivering symptom management and compassionate support.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in good standing, be able to travel within the service area, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and manage documentation and admissions during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience under license.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a care team and travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing visits for patients in home, assisted living, or hospital settings.
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Respond to calls from patients, families, and customers; document care.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Manage visits, documentation, and meetings while traveling across the service area.
