Job summary

Suncrest Hospice is seeking a full-time weekend Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care across the service area, visiting patients at homes and facilities. The RN will manage admissions, symptom control, and patient communications, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in good standing, with at least one year of licensed experience, and are comfortable with on-call admissions and EMR usage. Driving required for area visits.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (in good standing) in state of practice with 1 year of experience.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Collaborates daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Ability to learn and use an electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients in homes, facilities, or hospitals.
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Respond to calls from patients, families and customers.
• Coordinate with patient care team to support symptom management.
