Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice seeks a Weekend Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care to patients at home or in facilities across the service area. You will handle admissions and visits, and respond to calls from families with strong clinical and communication skills.

CA RN license and at least 1 year of experience are preferred; travel across the service area is required. This part-time weekend role offers competitive pay and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California in good standing.
• One year of experience under license.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Collaborates with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and CNA leadership.
• Ability to travel across service area with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients at homes, facilities, and hospitals.
• Complete admissions and patient visits; respond to calls from patients and families.
• Perform symptom management, handle deaths and admissions as needed.
• Advocate for hospice services and Suncrest Hospice while coordinating with care teams.
