Stillwater Hospice in Bozeman, Montana is seeking a Hospice RN to join our weekends team. The RN will plan, organize, and direct hospice care with emphasis on patient comfort and family education, delivering care in homes and communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in State.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree, with hospice care experience preferred.
• Supervising hospice aides where applicable.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive patient assessments.
• Provides professional nursing care per nursing process.
• Develops and revises plan of care with patient and family.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Counsels patient and family in nursing and related needs.
• Assists patient with activities of daily living and wellbeing.
• Acts as Case Manager when assigned by Clinical Supervisor.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and physicians.
