Job summary
Hospice of Davidson County North Carolina Inc. is seeking a Weekend On-Call Nurse to provide skilled and compassionate nursing care to patients and support to families on weekends, in home care and hospice settings.
The role requires NC RN licensure, CPR certification, a valid NC driver’s license, and the ability to lift and move patients. An Associate degree or nursing diploma is required; BSN preferred. Usual hours are 8am Saturday to 8am Monday; exempt full-time position.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or nursing diploma is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Licensed as a registered nurse in North Carolina.
- CPR certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients and support to families on weekends.
- Triage after hours and assess patient needs to ensure optimal symptom management.
