Job summary

Liberty Hospice in Thomasville, NC is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for Full Time Weekend On-Call coverage in the Piedmont region. You will coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians and the Hospice team to ensure comfort and quality end-of-life care.

Required: RN licensure in state of practice, nursing education from an approved school, CPR, and willingness to travel on weekends/evenings/holidays as needed. Hospice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Hospice experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication with patients, families and team.
• Ability to coordinate care and documentation for reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theories and concepts to patient care.
• Care documentation meeting reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate physical care with family, patient, physician and Hospice team.
• Communicate with patients and families at all levels.
• Attend IDT meetings and quality reviews.
