Job summary

Hospice of the Piedmont, Inc. in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Homecare CNA to provide compassionate patient care in home settings.

This 24-hour per week role covers Saturdays and Sundays 8am-5pm, with potential add-on days; travels between Asheboro and High Point service areas.

You will work under RN Case Manager supervision, supporting personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and safety, while documenting care and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• 1 year CNA experience required.
• CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nurse aide care plan to assist with hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Work with the IDG and other departments to achieve care goals.
• Document patient care clearly and timely according to policy.
• Manage time, supplies, and patient visits efficiently.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Demonstrate strong communication with patients and families.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Average 6-7 visits per day.
