Job summary

Generations Ashe is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our home care team in Ashe County, North Carolina. You will provide high-quality, in-home care focusing on independence, dignity, and comfort for our clients.

Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility assistance, wound care, and medication administration, with a strong emphasis on safety and confidentiality. Flexible scheduling and supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NC Nurse Aide I Certificate issued by the Division of Facility Services.
• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication, both oral and written; maintain confidentiality.
• Preferred: BLS or First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level I–III CNA care in clients' homes, including ADLs.
• Assist with mobility, gait training and transfers using devices.
• Administer medications and perform wound care as needed.
• Monitor client safety and report concerns to supervisors/case managers.
• Offer companionship and caregiver respite; document progress.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate with families.
