Job summary

Well Care Health in Asheboro, NC is hiring a Weekend Registered Nurse to provide in-home patient care, performing assessments, planning, and implementing nursing care per age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

The RN will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure physician orders are followed, maintain schedules, and promote patient satisfaction while upholding the agency's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or approved school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current license to practice nursing in NC/SC.
• Two years nursing experience; home health preferred.
• Able to lift and transfer patients; good hand/eye coordination.
• Must have a valid NC driver's license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess, interpret, plan, implement and evaluate patients according to age and diagnosis.
• Coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team and follow-up visits.
• Communicate information per agency policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to program effectiveness and organize work efficiently.
• Demonstrate commitment to agency values and promote patient satisfaction.
