Job summary

Hospice of the Piedmont, Inc. is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, in-home patient care under the supervision of a RN Case Manager. Expect 4–6 visits daily, with a minimum of 2 shifts every 4 weeks, serving patients in Asheboro and surrounding areas.

You will follow care plans, assist with hygiene, meals, safety, and light housekeeping, while documenting care and collaborating with the IDG and other staff. Valid CNA, driver's license, and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and home management tasks per the nurse aide care plan.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Document care provided clearly and timely in agency records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for the patient.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and energy-conserving practices.
• Demonstrate excellent communication with patients and families.
• Average of 4–6 visits per day.
