Job summary

Optum's Infirmary HomeCare unit in Mobile is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend home health visits (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). The RN provides and directs nursing care in patients' homes as prescribed by the physician, coordinating with the care team to ensure continuity of care.

Ideal candidates hold a current RN license in Alabama, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Current Driver's License and access to dependable transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates patient plans of care with physicians and team.
• Supervises home health aides and LPN/LVN per regulations.
• Documents patient care per policy and payer requirements.
• Participates in orientation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrates professionalism and participates in on-call/weekend rotations.
• Function in diverse home settings and with all patients.
