Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Infirmary HomeCare in Mobile, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a weekend schedule (Saturday/Sunday/Monday) to provide and coordinate home health care in patients' homes. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to assess needs, develop plans, and ensure high-quality, compliant care.

The role involves supervising aides, documenting care, and participating in on-call rotations. Compensation includes per-visit point pay and hourly pay, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Current drivers license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides and coordinates high-quality clinical care; supervises home health aides and LPN/LVNs in compliance with regulations.
• Documents all patient care per policy and payer requirements; communicates with physicians, patients, families, and staff.
• Participates in orientation and precepting of new staff; contributes to performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Demonstrates professionalism and participates in on-call/weekend rotations.
