Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. in Maplewood, MN seeks compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personal care in clients' homes. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Weekend shifts are available to fit your schedule.

You will monitor client health, report changes to the RN Case Manager, and help maintain safety and independence in daily living activities. Flexible hours and competitive pay offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients' lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the care plan.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
