Amedisys is seeking an admissions registered nurse for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the Portland, ME area. You will start of care, assess, and implement personalized plans of care for home health patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Formación

• Current RN license, state-specific.
• One year of clinical RN experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform start-of-care comprehensive assessment and develop/implement care plan.
• Complete timely OASIS assessments.
• Provide skilled nursing care per plan and policies.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, family, and resources to maintain continuity of care.
• Initiate referrals when indicated.
• Promote health through teaching and rehabilitative measures.
• Assist patients in learning self-care techniques.
