Ernest Health, Inc. – Phoenix Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a weekends part-time receptionist to greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and support patient flow in a busy rehab facility.

You will verify demographics and insurance, assist with registrations, maintain confidentiality per HIPAA, and collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure smooth operations while providing friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using hospital telecommunications systems.
• Facilitate patient flow from referral through admission in a timely manner.
• Obtain and verify demographics and financial information for registration and billing.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility as needed.
• Assist with obtaining prior authorizations when applicable.
• Maintain records related to telecommunications and on-call schedules.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
