Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an After-Hours Logistics Coordinator to ensure seamless logistics coverage during evening hours. You will forecast fuel needs and dispatch deliveries, aiming for 100% availability and 60% tank capacity efficiency.

You will create daily driver schedules, optimize routes, and ensure DOT hours of service compliance while coordinating with drivers and service centers. This role requires an associate degree or equivalent and 3–5 years of dispatch experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of dispatch, logistics, or route planning experience.
• Strong forecasting and route optimization skills.
• Knowledge of DOT hours of service.
• Ability to communicate with driver teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and databases.

Responsibilities

• Forecast deliveries and establish delivery frequencies to ensure 100% fuel availability.
• Create daily driver schedules and optimized routes.
• Review and correct forecasts to improve efficiency.
• Maintain service center delivery zones for route efficiency.
• Coordinate driver schedules to comply with DOT hours of service.
• Communicate routing instructions to drivers.
• Identify potential outages and proactive mitigations.
• Adapt to additional duties as needed.
