Lola Cafe in Los Angeles is seeking a friendly Front of House team member for weekend shifts. This role includes bussing, hosting, cashier duties, and possibly making coffee drinks while learning on the job.

You will greet guests, take orders, ring in food, and help manage busy dining room to ensure an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, able to stand long hours, and comfortable working in a fast-paced cafe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Refill coffee, water, and condiments as needed
• Take food orders accurately
• Be able to control guest flow on busy days
• Knowledge of barista drinks
