California Chicken Café - DTLA in Los Angeles is hiring a Guest Service Associate. Provide friendly hospitality, take orders, handle payments, assist guests at drive-up, and keep the dining area clean.

Must be 18+, pass CA Food Handler, fluent in English, and authorized to work in the United States. Prior restaurant experience is a plus; flexible schedule and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
• 1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Passionate about food and hospitality.
• Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
• Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality and service that turns a customer into a California Chicken Café raving fan.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests.
• Take guest orders and handle payments using the POS system.
• Direct, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests' vehicles.
• Greet guests with moments of humanity upon arrival.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant.
• Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment.
• Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
