Job Summary We are seeking a part-time, positive, friendly Front Desk person to provide exceptional service to our hotel guests. The Front Desk Agent take phone reservations and will assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, issue lock combinations, and process payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with housekeeping management to coordinate room availability, confirming reservations, answering guest inquiries, and completing paperwork promptly and accurately.
The Front Desk Agent must possess professionalism, excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Organizational skills and quick thinking are needed to qualify for this position. Our goal is to provide guests with a professional, exceptional customer service experience.
This position is currently for a weekend position approximately 16-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Provide professional service to all guests
Describe the features and amenities of guest rooms
Concierge - Local suggestions, and arrangements if necessary
Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person
Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation and open-ended questions
Maintain professionalism with guests and coworkers
Qualifications
Friendly and outgoing personality
Exceptional communication skills
Must have excellent organization skills
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Computer literacy
Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
