Job summary

Forrest Logistics in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Weekend Account Manager to own shipments from start to finish Fri–Mon. You will resolve real-time issues, schedule pickups, and keep customers and carriers informed with clear status updates.

You’ll negotiate rates and capacity with carriers, coordinate with Forrest Transportation drivers, and maintain accurate records in the TMS. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to keep freight moving and service levels high.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in logistics/transportation.
• Drayage/port experience is a plus.
• Ownership mentality and follow-through on commitments.
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in real time.
• Strong communication with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Detail oriented with experience updating TMS and tracking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own real time problem resolution for weekend freight and disruptions.
• Check appointment availability and schedule pickups/deliveries.
• Provide timely updates to customers and partner carriers.
• Serve as point of contact for weekend client inquiries.
• Negotiate rates and capacity with carriers to protect service levels.
• Coordinate with Forrest Transportation drivers and dispatch to keep the fleet moving.
• Maintain visibility of asset location and availability.
• Enter orders in the TMS and update records.
