Valmont is hiring a Fitter Welder in El Dorado, KS to fit and weld steel, metal, and aluminum components per layouts and blueprints. You will handle GMAW/FCAW/SAW processes, tack welds, and prep materials for assembly in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of welding experience, can read weld symbols and blueprints, and operate overhead cranes with attention to safety and quality. A high school diploma or GED and AWS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read weld symbols and blueprints and interpret layouts.
• Demonstrate safe, productive welding practices in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of fitting/welding in a production setting.
• Able to pass GMAW weld test and maintain certification.

Responsabilités

• Fit and weld steel, metal and aluminum components per layouts and blueprints.
• Tack weld parts into place and prepare material for welding.
• Operate overhead cranes and handle material safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints, measure accurately, and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow LEAN practices.
