Valmont is hiring a Welder 4 in a full-time production setting. The role involves welding metal and aluminum components per blueprints and layouts, using GMAW equipment and maintaining quality standards.

You will read weld symbols, follow work orders, and perform setup and maintenance of welding equipment. The job emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Read weld symbols and blueprints.
• Six months to one year of MIG welding experience in a production environment.
• Multi-pass, stack layering welding experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass an onsite welding assessment if required.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal and/or aluminum components per layouts, blueprints, or work orders using a variety of welding equipment.
• Read and decipher blueprints to determine weld sequences and operation steps.
• Setup, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality welds with a low non-conformity rate.
• Complete labor reporting and required shop forms.
