Job summary

Valmont Industries in El Dorado, KS is seeking a Site Welding Supervisor to lead the welding team, partner with operations, quality, and safety, and drive KPI performance.

You will develop welding procedures, coach staff, maintain records, and apply root cause analysis to improve processes. Some travel up to 10% is required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's with 6+ years, or an associate +8+, and the ability to obtain CWI/CWE/AWS/CWB accreditations; strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 6+ years experience, or associate degree with 8+ years experience, or 10+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain CWI, CWE, and AWS/CWB accreditations.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Safety-focused with adherence to Valmont policies.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Responsibilities

• Supervise site welding team and ensure KPI targets.
• Develop welding procedures and process improvements.
• Maintain welding records per quality procedures.
• Coach and train welding staff; support qualification activities.
• Travel up to 10% locally.
