Job summary

UAH College of Business seeks a Facilities & Operations leader responsible for campus-wide preventative maintenance and floor care programs. The role supervises weekend staff, develops standardized schedules, and ensures safety and quality control across university facilities.

Responsibilities include managing cleaning operations, reporting, training, and equipment planning. Strong knowledge of floor products, safety protocols, and APPA/ISSA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing a workforce.
• Experience in hard floor and carpet care techniques.
• Knowledge of ISSA and APPA standards.
• Must be available to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and quality control custodial operations.
• Provide direct supervision of weekend custodial operations.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and safety; ensure standards are met.
• Prepare operating, labor, and supply reports; manage budgets and inventory.
• Coordinate staff training and safety programs and ensure compliance.
