Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater KC in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member. The role focuses on keeping facilities clean, safe and welcoming during weekend shifts totaling about 14 hours per week.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces and restrooms, restocking supplies, trash disposal, and assisting with special cleaning projects. The position requires basic reading and communication, physical stamina, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of professional cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, glass, floors and restrooms; mop, sweep and vacuum.
• Restock tissue, towels and soap supplies.
• Gather trash and dispose of waste.
• Perform deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow security procedures and respond to pages promptly.
• Interact respectfully with members, guests and staff.
• Attend team meetings and trainings as needed.
