Job summary

The Jewish Community Campus (The J) in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member to keep our facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for visitors and staff. The role includes cleaning tasks across classrooms, restrooms and common areas, restocking supplies, and supporting special events.

Expected schedule is Saturdays and Sundays with about 14 hours per week, plus involvement in team trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent level of education or experience preferred.
• 1+ years of professional/commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods and to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, glass, floors and restrooms; sweep, mop, vacuum, clean sinks and countertops.
• Restock supplies (tissue, paper towels, soap).
• Gather and empty trash; dispose of spills safely and promptly.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment; follow safety procedures.
