Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater KC is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member for The J in Overland Park. The role focuses on keeping a safe, welcoming facility with evening and weekend shifts and essential cleaning duties.

You will clean windows, restrooms, and floors, restock supplies, dispose of trash, and assist with special cleaning projects while adhering to safety guidelines. A high school diploma and cleaning experience are preferred, with the ability to lift 35

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of professional/commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods; carry up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Able to follow schedule and complete duties within time allowances.
• Familiarity with basic office technology such as email and Teams messaging.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, glass, floors, and restrooms.
• Restock supplies (tissue, towels, soap).
• Gather and empty trash bins.
• Perform deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain stocked and organized supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures for chemicals and equipment.
