Job summary

Blueworx is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead weekend manufacturing operations in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance, with a strong emphasis on hands-on floor presence and problem-solving.

You will coach and develop team members, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in a climate-controlled fabrication environment. Strong communication and accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with laser cutting, press brakes, welding, and robotic welding systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety.
• Ability to motivate employees and drive results through clear expectations and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities in a fabrication environment.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor and address issues in real time.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve engagement and performance.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices and company safety standards.
• Prioritize workflow to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards and production specifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and productivity.
• Hold employees accountable for performance, productivity, attendance, and safety.
• Encourage cross-training and continued employee development.
• Foster a respectful, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
• Collaborate with scheduling, maintenance, and management to keep production aligned.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation.
