Job summary

Blueworx is seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication Operator for a climate-controlled facility in Tulsa, OK. You will operate fabrication equipment to cut, drill, grind, deburr, and finish sheet metal components, ensuring precise dimensions and quality.

Ideal candidates have metal fabrication experience, read blueprints, and are proficient with precision measuring tools and power tools. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial machinery and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Proficient with calipers, tape measures, squares, height gauges, and angle finders.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with press brakes or other metal forming equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Cut, drill, grind, sand, tap, and deburr metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
