Lahey Clinic is hiring a Per Diem EMT for weekend shifts (Sat 10:00 AM – Sun 10:00 PM) in Burlington, MA. The role provides non-emergency and emergency transport within hospital settings and pre-hospital environments as needed, requiring MA EMT-B and BLS certifications, and a MA driver’s license.

The position emphasizes prompt response, accurate documentation, and readiness of vehicles and equipment, with opportunities to cross-train for ED support and participate in ongoing learning.

Formación

• Current MA Basic EMT Certification.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Massachusetts Driver's License required.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to non-emergent and emergency requests promptly.
• Operates under MA EMS laws and hospital protocols.
• Documents PCRs accurately and maintains vehicle/equipment checks.
• Keeps vehicle ready and stocked; reports issues.
• Performs EMT-B level pre-hospital care and BLS assessments.
• Maintains professional relations with staff and partners.
• Participates in ongoing training and adopts new technology.
• Cross-trained to assist in the Emergency Department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
