Grandview Medical Center - Birmingham, AL invites a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department on Weekend Days (7am-7pm) for a full-time role. The RN delivers patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, education for patients and families, and participation in CPR/code team activities.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes to the team.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR/code team).
• Provides patient and family education on conditions and post-discharge care.
