Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a full-time midshift (9am–9pm). The RN coordinates care, conducts assessments, administers medications, and participates in life‑saving interventions.

Collaboration with physicians and the care team ensures high-quality patient outcomes and compassionate service. The role requires 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other clinicians
• Administer medications and monitor effects
• Assist during procedures within competency
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols
• Document care thoroughly
• Participate in audits and quality improvement
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with policies
• Emergency Services RN duties: rapid triage and stabilization procedures
