Job summary

Grandview Medical Center - Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on the full-time day-to-midshift, 9am-9pm. The role includes comprehensive patient-centered care, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in acute care required.
• RN license in the appropriate state is required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
