Qualifications

• High School diploma required, some college preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Insurance and healthcare regulations is required.
• Supervisory experience, preferably in Patient Access but must be in a healthcare setting.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience is required.
• Must communicate with staff, patients, nurses, physicians, management and families in a pleasant, diplomatic manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the ED registration staff.
• Assist with scheduling of staff and resource planning.
• Support orientation, training, and policy updates for registration personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements for accurate registrations.
• Maintain QA on employee registrations and coordinate with ED nurses and physicians.
