Job summary

Common Threads Charitable Donation Services is seeking a friendly Donation Station Attendant in Acworth, GA. You will greet donors and help with donations while representing the charity with courtesy and respect.

Shifts run Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role requires standing 6–8 hours, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and strong communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to stand 6–8 hours daily and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to establish relationships with peers and customers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to submit to background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service.
• Assist with receiving and recording donations.
• Safeguard donations until collected.
• Maintain a clean and organized donation site.
• Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies.
• Place signage in a visible, attractive manner.
• Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose.
