Job summary

Holman Logistics Option 2 is seeking a dispatcher to coordinate warehouse activities, paperwork, and carrier communications. The role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure on-time billing and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include supervising load processes, handling paperwork, and assisting with safety and security compliance, with regular overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Two years of dispatch experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the activities of Team Members engaged in receiving, storing and shipping product in iDS and load documents to supervisors.
• Coordinates paperwork from and to outside truck drivers dropping off and picking up loads.
• Confers with supervisors/managers to coordinate warehouse activities and dispatch activities.
• Processes cuts and communicates shortages to space planners, inventory control and management.
• Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
• Arranges for necessary shipping documentation and contact carriers for necessary equipment outbound shipment to ensure on-time billing.
• Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.
• Answers phones.
• Assists other Dispatchers with any necessary functions.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
