Friendship Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional for weekend shifts in Clarksville, Arkansas. The role supports clients in daily living tasks, transportation, and care planning within home and community settings.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Prior experience with developmentally disabled individuals is a plus; you will document care plans, monitor health and safety, and assist with activities and medications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic living skills and daily tasks (e.g., showers, dressing, meals, budgeting).
• Provide transportation to activities/appointments as needed; valid Arkansas driver’s license required.
• Maintain clear communication with staff about client needs and progress by end of shift.
• Complete required documentation (behavioral/incident reports, care sheets, forms) accurately.
• Follow Medicaid guidelines and maintain records for vehicles and mileage/billing.
